- Cut a clean, peeled cucumber (or unpeeled to your liking) into thin 1/2 inch slices.
- Out these freshly cut cucumber slices into filtered or purified water and with ice.
- Let it marinate for at least one hour. However, for best results, you should let it sit in the fridge overnight.
- Cucumber slices swim, so it is important to cover them with ice to keep them underwater.
To avoid using ice cubes, buy a fruit-infused water bottle or jug. This will let you put the cucumber slices into the infusion chamber. These work very well, large fruit infused jugs look good on a table and encourage your family to drink more water. Also fruit infused travel bottles help keep you hydrated all day long.
You can refill the decanter or travel bottle several times before it starts to lose flavor.
You can even eat the cucumber slices if you want, but remember to discard your batch after 24 hours.

- ½ gallon of spring water.
- ½ a cucumber (thinly sliced).
- Half of a medium grapefruit (thinly sliced).
- ½ each of thinly sliced lime, lemon and a few torn mint leaves.
- Allow the ingredients to sit and marinate in your refrigerator for a few hours before you serve. You should aim to drink at least ½ gallon a day for best results and health benefits.

Cucumber and lemon infused detox is a delicious treat that you can make by simply combining cucumbers with lemon in water.

- Let this mixture drip overnight in the fridge.
- Mix the resulting cucumber juice into a container or pitcher of water. This means you can stretch it according to how strong you want it. Personally I like to have mine with just a hint of taste.
