Or you can even add a little hot water.

Lemon and Cucumber Water Benefits
1. Cucumber Detox Water Helps Hydrate You
When you meet your specific water needs, you will enjoy the benefits of staying hydrated. Such as maintaining the proper body temperature, helping your cardiovascular system and helping in the cleansing of toxins. Your body will have more energy and help each of your organs do their job better when they receive enough water. Cucumber water adds that extra something to the regular water that makes you more likely to drink it more often. This helps you stay hydrated every day. For best results, be sure to use purified or spring water.
2. Provide Additional Vitamins and Minerals
Cucumber water is vital for the body, but by itself it is not a great source of vitamins. However, when you add cucumbers you will add vitamins and minerals that will help supplement the rest of your diet. Many cucumber water recipes also add fruit, so you will get antioxidants and extra vitamins from those, such as vitamin A and vitamin C. Since these vitamins come from whole food sources and not from synthetic vitamins, they will be better absorbed and used.
3. Helps with High Blood Pressure
Keeping your blood pressure under control is important because it will help you stay away from debilitating diseases. Diseases like stroke, heart attack, kidney disease or even things like blindness. By drinking cucumber water, it stays hydrated and helps your blood pressure thanks to the 4% DV of potassium cucumbers contain.
Since they are essentially free of sodium, you will get the maximum benefit from this important mineral. If high blood pressure is a concern, just make sure you do not overdo it with your water consumption. You’re looking for the “perfect” amount just like “Goldilocks”.
4. Suppresses Appetite
Drinking a glass of cucumber water when you’re hungry can satisfy you until your next meal if it’s not yet time to eat. Eating when you are not really hungry can lead to weight gain, sluggishness and can make you lose your natural feeding cycle. When you next feel hungry drink a glass of cucumber detox water to see if you are only thirsty. Thirst and hunger use the same signal, and drinking cucumber water can help determine if it really is hunger. Saving a few unjustified meals a week can be a big boost to your health and help you lose weight at the same time.
5. Cucumber Detox Water Is Good For Skin
Cucumber is good for the skin. Staying hydrated will help your skin stay flexible and smooth, and adding cucumbers to your water intake means you are getting additional nutrients that help you even more. Cucumbers contain silica, which provides additional benefits to the skin. You can also use the cucumbers after you have finished the cucumber detox water. They are great to help soothe the irritation caused by acne or other imperfections. It will be helping your skin from the inside, as well as topically when you add cucumber water to your skin care routine.
6. Helps Your Muscles
Whether you are trying to strengthen yourself or not, helping your muscles stay strong is a good idea. The same silica in the cucumbers that helps the skin also helps the muscles to become healthy. It is a great option if you have added a strength-training regimen to your healthy lifestyle, or if you want to make sure that your muscles have all the nutrients needed to function to the fullest. A daily glass of cucumber water makes a great contribution to the overall health of your muscles and your body in general.
7. Has Antioxidant / Detox Properties
Use cucumber water during a detoxification program and you will be helping the body even more. It contains antioxidants that will help fight free radicals and help the body eliminate accumulated toxins thanks to its moisturizing effect. Body detoxification does not have to be a single event or once a year, it can help your body stay clean with daily attention to the foods you are eating, as well as avoiding foods that are known to be toxic to the body. This type of regular maintenance keeps you feeling good all year long.
8. Possible Benefits Against Cancer
Cucumbers have shown promise for their anticancer properties, and when you use them as part of a healthy lifestyle in general, you will be helping to avoid this disease. Of course, they are not powerful enough by themselves to avoid cancer. But as part of a broader approach to a healthy lifestyle, it makes sense to stay hydrated with cucumber detox water. You will take many vitamins, minerals and nutrients such as the cucurbitacins that are found in cucumbers, which gives you a better chance to stay healthy in the long term.

When I prepare infused water, I prefer to use well-washed organic ingredients to prevent possible pesticides from being infused into the water.
Going to make a large amount of cucumber water detox that will last longer then a day? I recommend that you remove the slices of lime after 6 to 8 hours. This will stop the water from becoming too bitter.
If you want to enjoy cucumber mint infused water without waiting for the long infusion, then slice everything together. I.e. slice up cucumber, some mint leaves, a thin slice of lime and gently mash them up in a blender.
But not for too long!
Just for 3-5 seconds. Put them into a strainer or fruit infuser bottle with water and some ice cubes. Seal, shake and enjoy.
