Yes, it is clean, simple and generally the most affordable option. However, they typically do not add any minerals or vitamins like some of the branded bottled water. AquaTru Filters

Also, it is pretty hard to find out how they are filtered as they don’t have dedicated websites like the major bottled water brands.

Propel – Score: 3/10

As for Propel, people have found that it smells slightly salty and metallic. Putting it on your tongue has a strange effect. Also, some people have stated that the texture and taste is very similar to Gatorade, which is weird.

Iceberg – score: 5/10

Ice Mountain does pretty well if you are looking for nothing but water. It is unflavoured water that is completely neutral in almost every way, which is absolutely OK. However, some people have commented that it has a slight “mineral” aftertaste.

Dasani – Score: 5/10

Some people say Dasani can smell a bit off, a little bit like wine, which is mixed with sulfates.

Aquafina – Score: 5.4/10

When pH tested, Aquafina comes up acid. This means that it’s fine to drink but perhaps not as good as alkaline water. Some people have said it tastes like it has dissolved minerals and a little salt. Still, A better option is water that is mineral rich like natural spring water. However, Aquafina is a good thirst quencher and generally safe to drink.

Naleczowianka – Score: 5.9/10

Naleczowianka is another bottled water that has a “distinctive” smell. It is slightly salty but quenches thirst.

In short, I consider the best bottled water brands to be Mountain Valley Spring Water, Voss, Evian and Fiji.

However, the bottom line is that no bottled water is good for you or the environment.
